Ingredients

  • 300 g rice (Aborio)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 500 ml chicken broth
  • 150 ml white wine, drier
  • 1 large red pepper (s)
  • Herbs, Italian style

Instructions

  1. Peel onions and cut them into fine pieces. Peel and press the garlic. Clean and finely dice the bell pepper.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, add the onion and garlic and sauté in it until translucent. Add the diced paprika and rice and cook for 2-3 minutes while stirring. Gradually pour in the broth and white wine - just enough to just cover the rice. Now add the Italian herbs and let everything simmer over medium heat. As soon as the rice has almost completely absorbed the added liquid, add new liquid. Stir occasionally.
  3. As soon as the rice is cooked (takes about 15 minutes - it still has a bit of bite), serve immediately.
