Almond and Curd Cookies

Soft and tasty cookies. It is easy and quick to prepare. Children and adults will like it.

Cook: 1 hour 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese – 250 g
  • Wheat flour / Flour – 200 g
  • Rice flour – 100 g
  • Butter – 180 g
  • Sugar – 150 g
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Soda – 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Chicken egg (In the dough, we only need the yolk. The second egg for greasing the cookies
  • before sending to the oven.) – 2 pcs.
  • Almonds (We need almond petals.) – 1/2 stack.
  • Powdered sugar (For sprinkling finished cookies) – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Add wheat and rice flour to a bowl, add baking soda and salt.
  2. Melt the butter. Add sugar to the butter. Stir the mixture.
  3. Add egg yolk to the mixture.
  4. Pour the egg-oil mixture into the flour.
  5. Rub the curd through a metal sieve. Add cottage cheese to the mixture. Knead the dough.
  6. Roll out the dough into a layer. The thickness of the layer is 0.7-1 cm. Cut cookies of any shape.
  7. Grease the cookies with a beaten egg, sprinkle with almond petals, send to the oven for baking. Bake until tender.
  8. The cookie is ready. Cool the finished cookies, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
