Ingredients

  • 1 liter milk
  • 120 g semolina, (soft wheat)
  • 40 g suar
  • 100 g almond (s), finely round
  • some saffron, finely ground
  • 1 orange (s), the finely grated peel it
  • 1 shot amaretto
  • 1 vanilla pod (s), the pulp from it (as desired)

Instructions

  1. Bring the milk to a boil.
  2. In the meantime, mix all the other ingredients except for the amaretto. Stir everything into the boiling milk, add the dash of amaretto and cook for another 2 minutes until the semolina is swollen.
  3. If children eat with them, leave out the amaretto or replace it with a drop of bitter almond oil.
  4. Serve with some fruit. Orange roast or spicy oranges go great with it.
