Almond Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Cream (35% or any fat) – 200 g
  • Vanilla sugar – 8 g
  • Egg – 4 pcs.
  • Flour – 2 cups
  • Leavening powder – 16 g
  • Salt – a pinch

Syrup:

  • Milk – 5-6 tablespoon.
  • Butter – 125 g
  • Vanilla sugar – 16 g
  • Sugar – 1 tablespoon.
  • Almonds (sliced) – 200 g

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the dough and add the flour. Mix all together thoroughly. Put the mass into a mold.
  2. Put it in the oven for 10 minutes. The temperature should be 200 degrees.
  3. Make the syrup. Combine the milk, sugar, butter, and vanilla sugar. Put the mixture on the stove. When it boils, add the almonds. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Take out the cake and pour the syrup over it. Put it in the oven for another 10 minutes.
