Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 5 egg (s)
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 400 g almonds, round
  • 100 g almonds, chopped
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 100 g milk chocolate, rated or chopped
  • Fat and breadcrumbs for the pan
  • 2 cups chocolate glaze (nut glaze also tastes great with it)
  • 1 packet baking powder

Instructions

  1. Roast the almonds and have them ready. They should cool down a bit but still be lukewarm.
  2. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Mix the egg yolks, sugar and butter together well. Stir in the roasted almonds. Sieve in the flour and baking powder and stir briefly. Fold in the chopped or grated chocolate. At the end, carefully fold in the egg whites.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased pan sprinkled with breadcrumbs.
  4. Baking time approx. 50-55 min
  5. Top / bottom heat: 200 degrees
  6. Circulating air: 180 degrees
  7. Muffins:
  8. The amount is enough for approx. 24 muffins
  9. Baking time approx. 20-25 min
  10. Top / bottom heat: 200 degrees
  11. Circulating air: 180 degrees
  12. Let the cake or muffins cool down briefly and take them out of the mold and only decorate with chocolate or powdered sugar when it is completely cold.
