Ingredients

  • 300 g cherry (s), (Amarena cherries) approx.
  • 325 g mararine
  • 325 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 6 medium egg (s)
  • 200 ml egg liqueur
  • 1 packet custard powder, vanilla
  • 350 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Drain the amarena cherries and collect the juice.
  2. Beat the margarine for approx. 4 minutes. Add sugar, vanilla sugar and salt and beat again for 4 minutes. Gradually stir in the eggs, then pour in eggnog. Sieve the vanilla pudding powder, flour and baking powder over and mix carefully with the batter.
  3. Pour half of the dough into a greased bundt pan, sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Spread the Amarena cherries on top and pour in the remaining batter.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C top and bottom heat for approx. 55 minutes. Let cool down.
  5. After cooling, dust the cake with powdered sugar or mix 200 g of powdered sugar with amarena juice and a little water.
  6. Pour the icing over the cake.
