Ingredients

  • 6 slices white bread from the day before
  • 2 tablespoon butter, melt
  • 90 g raisins
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 500 ml milk
  • 150 g suar, white
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C, if possible bottom heat, otherwise top / bottom heat. Break the slices of white bread into small pieces and place in a rectangular baking pan (20 cm). Drizzle the melted butter over the bread. Scatter the raisins on top.
  2. Beat the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla extract in a medium-sized bowl and pour over the bread, making sure that the bread is well covered with the mixture.
  3. Place the baking pan in the oven and bake the bread pudding for 45 minutes. The pudding is ready when the surface springs back when touched with a fork.
  4. Take the bread pudding out of the oven and let it cool down a little, serve with whipped cream. If you don`t like raisins, you can leave them out.
