Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 0.25 liter ¼ milk
  • liter ⅛ sparkling mineral water
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 8 tablespoon oil
  • 3 egg whites
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff. Then mix in all the other ingredients. Carefully fold the egg whites under the dough and let it rest until the bubbles recede somewhat (approx. 5 minutes).
  2. Bake in the waffle iron until browned. A ladle of batter makes a waffle with a normal waffle iron.
  3. Dust with powdered sugar.
  4. The waffles also taste cold or can be reheated in the microwave.

  6. Serve with chocolate sauce, applesauce, cherries or whipped cream.
