  • 350 g butter
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 200 g hazelnuts, round
  • 500g flour
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • powdered sugar
  • currant jelly, red and black

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the two egg yolks. Stir in the hazelnuts, then gradually add the flour. Mix everything together well. Put the dough in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  2. Shape the dough into small balls (the dough can be easily portioned with a small teaspoon). Press a hole in the middle with your finger and place it on the tray.
  3. Stir the currant jelly with a spoon and pour it into the biscuit cavity. If you want, you can put the tray and the biscuits back in the refrigerator (or on the balcony) until the oven is preheated.
  4. Bake at 180 ° C (fan oven) for about 10 minutes. The baking time may vary depending on the oven. The cookies must be lightly browned.
  5. The jelly sizzles a lot while baking. If there is not enough after baking, you can put a little jelly on the hot cookies. Let the cookies cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
