  • 4 slices boiled ham, cut into strips
  • 125 g cheese (medieval Gouda or Emmentaler)

Instructions

  1. Clean the fennel and cook in boiling salted water with ¼ teaspoon sugar for 30-40 minutes, then drain.
  2. Halve the tubers and place in a baking dish. Roll up the ham strips and place them between the fennel bulbs. Season everything with freshly ground pepper. Spread small slices of cheese and butter flakes on top. Bake golden brown at 200 ° for approx. 10-15 minutes.
