  • 200 g oatmeal, tender

Instructions

  1. Warm up the apple juice, let the fat and honey melt in it. Peel and grate the apple. Mix the flour, oatmeal and yeast. Knead with apple juice, grated apple and 1/2 teaspoon salt until the dough is nice and elastic. Possibly add 2 - 3 tablespoons of liquid, the dough will still swell.
  2. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes until the volume has doubled. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (top / bottom heat, convection: 180 ° C). Line two trays with baking paper.
  3. Knead the dough again. With floured hands, cut pieces the size of a plum, shape them and place them on the baking sheets with a gap. Let rest for 10-15 minutes. Brush the rolls with a little water and bake for about 12 minutes. Then bake the second tray.
  4. For a hearty variant, replace the apple juice with carrot juice and the apple with fresh carrot rasps.
