Instructions

  1. Peel the apples and cut into pieces. Add the lemon juice, the preserving sugar and the rosemary sprig to the apples and stir. Cover and let the apples stand for a while, e.g. overnight. For impatient people like me, 1-2 hours are enough. Bring everything together in a saucepan to the boil while stirring and cook for 5 minutes. Then remove the rosemary sprig. Now the jam can be pureed as you like, or it can not be poured into glasses while hot. I put a small sprig of rosemary in each glass as a decoration.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
