Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 125 g butter
  • 230 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 250 g natural yourt
  • 1 packet vanilla pudding powder
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 260 g flour
  • 100 g chocolate, rated or in chunks
  • 0.5 ½ lemon juice, from half a lemon

Instructions

  1. Peel apples and cut into small pieces.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a 26 cm springform pan.
  3. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon juice and eggs with a hand mixer on the highest setting for 2 - 3 minutes until creamy. Add the natural yoghurt, pudding powder, baking powder and flour and stir everything carefully. Then stir in the apple pieces and chocolate chunks with a spoon. Pour the mixture into the greased springform pan and bake on the middle rack for about 60 minutes. If the dough gets too dark, cover the mold with aluminum foil.
  4. After the cake has cooled down, dust the cake with powdered sugar or coat it with couverture.
  5. Freshly whipped cream tastes good with it.
  6. The recipe is designed for 12 servings.
