Ingredients

  • 1 kg apples, sour
  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • 200 ml apple juice
  • 6 tablespoon almond (s), sliced
  • 150 g sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 250 g yourt
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • Icing sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Peel, quarter and core the apples. Cut into cubes and drizzle with lemon juice. Heat the butter and briefly fry the apples in it. Sprinkle with sugar and deglaze with the apple juice. Cover everything and let it simmer for 5-8 minutes, then let it cool down.
  2. Toast the flaked almonds in a pan and remove them immediately, otherwise they will turn black. Mix the sour cream or creme fraiche with yoghurt and vanilla sugar well.
  3. Layer the compote and cream in dessert bowls and sprinkle with the flaked almonds. Dust some icing sugar over it.
