  • 175 g puff pastry, frozen (4 plates a 12 x 12cn)
  • 2 apples, sweetie
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • 100 g quark
  • 1 tablespoon almond (s), chopped
  • 1 teaspoon milk or condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Place the four sheets of puff pastry individually on the worktop and let them thaw. Wash the apples, remove the core from quarters and cut the pulp into small cubes.
  2. Put the apple cubes in a saucepan, drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Heat the apples and sauté over low heat for 5 minutes. Allow to cool slightly.
  3. Stir the quark until creamy, beat in 2 tablespoons of sugar. Sprinkle the dough sheets with the chopped almonds. Preheat the oven to 220 ° C. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Put a quarter of the quark in the middle of each sheet of dough and smooth it out a little. Leave a margin of 1-2 cm in each case. Spread the apple mixture on the quark. Brush the edges of the pastry with a little water and fold the pastry sheets into triangles. Press the edges together well with a fork.
  5. Place the dumplings on the baking sheet and brush with condensed milk, or you can brush them with normal milk. Bake in a preheated oven (gas mark 4, fan oven 200 ° C) for about 15 minutes.
  6. Serve lukewarm or cold.
