Ingredients

  • 750 g apples (e.. Boskop, Elstar, Jonaold)
  • 50 ml apple juice or white wine
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 30 grams sugar
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), including the grated zest
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 250 g quark
  • 3 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 125 ml milk, (up to 250 )
  • Biscuit (s), (Amarettini) to decorate

Instructions

  1. Peel the apples and cut into thin wedges. Bring apple juice or wine with sugar, vanilla sugar and lemon zest to the boil, add the apple wedges and let simmer over medium heat. Pour into a bowl.
  2. Mix the mascarpone with the quark, powdered sugar and milk. Spread the cream on the apple wedges and decorate with amarettini.
