Ingredients

  • 120 g flour

  • 500 g leek
  • 1 clove garlic

  • 2 apples
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 100 g bacon (farmer`s bacon)
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • 100 g processed cheese, (fine cream ham)
  • 1 salt and pepper
  • marjoram

Instructions

  1. Knead the flour, salt, butter and 2 tablespoons of cold water until smooth, chill for 30 minutes. Wash the leek and cut into rings, chop the garlic. Fry both in the hot oil until translucent. Roll out the shortcrust pastry, place in a greased dish (26 cm diameter), pull up the vine. Prick the pastry base several times. Pre-bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° (electric stove) for 10 minutes.
  2. Cut the pitted apples into wedges and drizzle with lemon juice. Chop the bacon. Mix both with the leek (do not continue to fry!). Mix eggs, cream, cheese, salt, pepper and, if you like, marjoram. Shape the leeks, apples and bacon. Pour egg milk over it and bake for approx. 35 minutes at 200 °.
