Ingredients

  • 600 ml apple juice, naturally cloudy
  • 3 lime (s), including the juice
  • 3 tablespoon cane sugar
  • 1 piece (s) ginger root
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 small apples
  • 6 stalks mint, fresh, Moroccan
  • Mineral water, ice cold
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Mix the apple juice with the lime juice. Mix in cane sugar and cinnamon well. Peel and quarter the ginger, add the ginger quarters to the juice. Let the mixture steep in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  2. Peel, quarter, core and slice the apples. Set aside 4 apple slices for garnish. Wash the mint and shake dry, pluck the leaves from two stems.
  3. Remove the pieces of ginger from the lemonade base and discard. Fill up the lemonade base with cold mineral water as desired. Add the mint leaves and apple slices to the lemonade.
  4. Put one apple slice and one mint stalk each in a glass. Pour in the lemonade. Add ice cubes if you like.
