Instructions

  1. Peel the apple and mango and grate them relatively finely. Heat a saucepan and let the cane sugar caramelize in it. Then deglaze with cider and calvados. Add apple and mango grated and bring to the boil. Set the stove to the lowest setting, add lemon juice, cinnamon stick and let it steep for about 15-20. Always pay attention to the consistency of the fruit puree and stir. Towards the end of the cooking time, add the chilli flakes and coconut milk, remove the cinnamon stick. Fill up to the brim in a suitable mason jar, close it and place in the refrigerator after it has cooled down.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
