  • 2 egg whites
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 apple
  • 160 g marzipan paste, rated
  • 200 g almond (s), chopped
  • 50 g desiccated coconut

Instructions

  1. Beat the 2 egg whites until stiff and then add the sugar.
  2. Peel, core and grate the apple. Everyone can choose the apple variety according to their taste. So far it tasted good with every variety I tried.
  3. Chop the marzipan and nuts. Mix the grated apple, marzipan and nuts with the egg whites and use a teaspoon to place small heaps on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Then I sprinkle desiccated coconut on the macaroons.
  4. The tray is then placed in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes at 180 ° C (top / bottom heat). If you don`t like almonds, you can use hazelnuts, sesame or similar instead.
