Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 100 g butter
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 2 medium egg (s)
  • 150 grams flour
  • 7 g bakin powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 75 g hazelnuts, round
  • 75 ml water
  • 8 g vanilla suar
  • powdered sugar
  • 1 handful sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter and let it cool. Mix butter, sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ground hazelnuts, water and vanilla sugar in a bowl and then add the peeled and chopped apples.
  2. Pour the mixture into prepared muffin tins, approx. 1.5 tablespoon per tin. Bake at 180 degrees top / bottom heat in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
  3. Tip: At 3/4 of the baking time, sprinkle the muffins with slivers of almonds and finish baking.
  4. Let it cool down and sprinkle some powdered sugar over it.
  5. Makes about 15 muffins.
