Ingredients

  • 3 apples, e.g., Granny Smith
  • 1 vanilla pod (s)
  • 4 tablespoon apple juice
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • Hazelnuts, chopped

For the sprinkles:

  • 50 grams sugar
  • 60 g butter, soft
  • 90 g flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Peel the apples, cut into bite-sized pieces and place in a bowl. Scrape the pulp out of the vanilla pod and add to the apple pieces, as well as the sugar. Mix everything together and divide into small baking dishes. Then pour 1 tablespoon each of apple juice and chopped hazelnuts over the mixture.
  2. Process the sugar, butter, cinnamon and flour into crumble and pour over the apple pieces.
