- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C top / bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Beat eggs and sugar until frothy. Bring butter and milk to the boil and add to the egg-sugar mixture while hot. Fold in the flour and baking powder. Spread the batter evenly on the baking sheet. Cut the apples into wedges and cover the dough with them. Bake the cake on the middle rack for 25-30 minutes. After cooling, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or almonds.
