Ingredients

  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 100 grams flour
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 75 g butter, soft or clarified butter

For covering:

  • 750 g apples, (Boskop)

For the cast:

  • 200 ml sweet cream
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoon amaretto
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

For painting:

  • 125 g almond (s), sliced
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Put the cornstarch and flour in a bowl. Add egg, sugar and fat and knead everything with the hand mixer on low speed. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into wedges. Drizzle with lemon juice. Line a pie form (24-26 cm) with the dough, pull up the edge. Prick the dough several times with a fork. Cover the bottom with apple slices in a circle.
  3. For the topping, mix the cream, egg, sugar and amaretto with the whisk. Pour the icing over the apples and sprinkle with the almond leaves. Bake the cake at about 175-200 ° C for about 50 minutes. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
