Instructions

  1. Dough:
  2. Mix the flour, except for 2 spoons, sugar and vanilla sugar. Melt the fat and pour over it. Use the dough hook of the hand mixer to make crumbles. Sprinkle the remaining flour over the crumble and shake well in a bowl.
  3. Grease a springform pan (26 cm) and press 2-thirds of the dough onto the base.
  4. Spread applesauce on the base.
  5. Filling:
  6. Put the fat in a bowl and stir until frothy. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon juice and stir in. Add the eggs one after the other and stir the mixture until creamy. Stir in the quark and pudding powder.
  7. Spread the vanilla quark mixture on the applesauce and sprinkle the remaining crumble dough on the edge. Bake cakes in a preheated oven (gas stove: level 3, electric stove: top / bottom heat 200 ° C) for 45 - 50 minutes.
  8. Let the apple quark cake cool down a little and remove it from the mold. Dust with icing sugar after cooling. Serve with cream if necessary.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
