Instructions

  1. Mix the quark with sugar, eggs, milk and baking soda. Sift the flour and stir in. Peel and core the apples, cut into small cubes and mix with the batter.
  2. Cut off with a teaspoon donut and let slide into the hot fat. The fat in the deep fryer should not be hotter than 190 °, as the donuts should have a light brown color on the outside but must also be done. Roll it in the cinnamon-sugar mixture while it is still hot.
  3. A relaxed, airy, delicious thing. Makes about 20 donuts.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
