Ingredients

For the yeast dough:

  • 250 g flour
  • 0.5 ½ cube yeast
  • 125 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 75 g butter
  • 1 egg (s)

For covering:

  • 1 cup crème fraîche (50 g)
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • 3 apples
  • 40 g flaked almonds
  • 100 g apricot jam
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Put the flour in a mixing bowl, make a well in it. Crumble the yeast and pour in. Add the milk with 1 tablespoon of sugar to the yeast, stir until smooth and cover and let rise for about 15 minutes. Add the remaining sugar, vanilla sugar, butter and egg, knead everything.
  2. Let rise again for about 30 minutes. Roll out the dough and press it into a greased springform pan (28 cm), pulling up the edge a little.
  3. For the topping, stir the crème fraîche, egg and vanilla sugar until smooth and pour onto the dough. Peel the apples and cut into wedges. Spread like a fan on the crème and sprinkle with almonds.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C (convection: 160 ° C) for about 25 - 30 minutes. Heat the jam, brush the apples with it and cover the edge with powdered sugar. Serve the apple tart lukewarm with (cinnamon) cream.
