  • Wheat flour 1 grade – 2 Glasses
  • Sour milk – 1 Glass
  • Eggs – 2 Pieces
  • Sugar – 1-2 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 100 Milliliters
  • Salt – 1 Pinch
  • Dry yeast – 1 teaspoon
  • Apples – 2 Pieces
  • Cinnamon – 1 Teaspoon

Apple Waffles Instructions

  1. Sift flour into a bowl. Add yeast, sugar and salt.
  2. Pour in the curdled milk and turn the dough with a fork, adding half the vegetable oil. Cover the bowl with a towel and let rise in a warm, draft-free place until doubled in volume.
  3. Grate the peeled apples on a coarse grater. Better to take sour apples, Antonovka is ideal.
  4. Add apples and a pinch of cinnamon to the dough that has come up, beat in the eggs and pour out the rest of the oil. Knead the dough well, whisking with a fork, until smooth.

  5. Let it stand for another 20 minutes and start baking the waffles. Before baking, you should grease the waffle iron with oil and warm it up well.
  6. It is better to put waffles on the wire rack.
  7. But it is much tastier to serve hot to eaters immediately.
