I think kids will especially like this dessert. And what could be healthier than baked apples for dessert?
Ingredients
Apples – 1 kg
Rice – 200 g
Seedless raisins – 100 g
Vegetable oil – 50 ml
Sugar – 70 g
Powdered sugar – 2 tablespoons
Directions
Rinse the rice and boil for 10 minutes in boiling water. Drain the water.
Steam the raisins with boiling water while the rice is cooking.
Rinse the apples. Cut off the top of each apple, remove the core without damaging the walls.
Prepare the filling: combine rice, raisins, sugar and 30 ml of vegetable oil.
Stuff the apples with the filling.
Cover the baking sheet with foil so that the apple juice does not burn on it, grease with vegetable oil. Place the filled apples on a baking sheet and pour over the remaining butter.
Bake apples stuffed with rice for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°.
Powder the baked stuffed apples with icing sugar before serving.
