Ingredients
- 1 glass applesauce
- 100 g butter, soft
- 200 g suar
- 4 egg (s), size M
- 1 kg quark, lean
- 1 ½ pack custard powder, vanilla
- Fat and semolina for the mold or baking paper
- 50 g almond (s), diced

- Mix the butter and sugar with the hand mixer until creamy. Mix in the eggs one by one. Fold in the quark, pudding powder and the applesauce.
- Grease a springform pan (26 cm Ø) and sprinkle with semolina or line with baking paper.
- Scatter the almond sticks on the base and pour the dough on top. Bake in the preheated oven on the 2nd rack from the bottom at 180 degrees (gas 2-3, convection 160 degrees) for 50 minutes.
- Cover the cake with aluminum foil and bake for another 25 minutes. Let cool down.
- The cake only tastes really good the next day after it has been really pulled through!
