Applesauce with Cinnamon and Orange
Applesauce with Cinnamon and Orange

Instructions

  1. Wash the apples, if you like you can peel them, but you don`t have to. Then core, cut into pieces and put in the saucepan. Half fill the pot with water. Add the sugar, cinnamon and the juice of one orange. If you add more cinnamon, it gets a little darker. It`s a matter of taste. Simmer everything until the apples are very soft. Then with a hand blender, puree, pour into glasses rinsed with hot water and close tightly.
  2. Goes very well with potato pancakes, pasta, or just as a dessert or in between.
  3. It`s very, very tasty and the best puree I`ve ever made from apples.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
