  • 60 g butter

Instructions

  1. Squeeze the curd cheese through a kitchen towel and pass through a fine sieve. Sift the flour. Heat the butter and work it together with the curd cheese, flour, eggs and salt to form a smooth dough. Core the apricots, cover each with the dough and press firmly. Put in boiling water, stir once and reduce the heat immediately. Let the dumplings stand for about 10 minutes. Toast the breadcrumbs in butter and toss the dumplings in it one after the other. Serve with icing sugar. Tip: If the apricots are very sour, you can add a small sugar cube instead of the core. This dough is also suitable for all types of fruit dumplings, which can also be served with ground, roasted nuts and powdered sugar.
