Ingredients

  • 200 g pretzel (s) (pretzels)
  • 50 g ham, cooked
  • 50 g shallot (s), diced
  • 20 g butter
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 80 grams flour
  • 1 tablespoon thyme leaves
  • 150 ml milk
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Scrape the salt off the pretzels, cut the pretzels into cubes. Cut the ham into cubes and fry in butter with the shallots. Add the eggs, flour and thyme leaves to the pretzels, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Heat milk, add. Mix everything and let the mixture rest for a while until the pretzels have absorbed the liquid. Shape the mixture into dumplings and cook them in boiling water for about 15 minutes.
