Ingredients

  • 500 g berries, (aronia berries)
  • 250 g rock suar, white
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), juice from it
  • 0.5 ½ vanilla pod (s), pulp it
  • some water

Instructions

  1. Sauté the aronia berries in a saucepan with a little water until they are soft enough to be crushed. The resulting pulp must be strained to collect the juice (approx. 300 ml).
  2. The juice is now boiled with the rock sugar, lemon juice and vanilla pulp until the rock has dissolved.
  3. The resulting syrup should be filled immediately into hot, rinsed, sealable bottles.
