Instructions

  1. Wash the artichokes, dry them with kitchen paper and remove the stems so that the bottom of the artichoke is level.
  2. Next, prepare the filling. Cut the onions and garlic into small cubes and place in a bowl. Add chopped parsley and chives and add about 50 ml of olive oil.
  3. Add about 1 teaspoon of salt and a little pepper and mix everything well. Let everything rest for 10 minutes and then season to taste. The taste of the filling should be salty
  4. Take 50 cm of aluminum foil and place an artichoke in the middle of the aluminum foil. Now fill the artichoke. Some of the filling is stuffed into each artichoke leaf, starting from the outside in. When the artichoke is completely stuffed, pour olive oil properly from above (approx. 75 ml).
  5. If you like cheese, you can also sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. Now wrap the artichoke with the aluminum foil. 2 layers of aluminum foil are required.
  6. Now put the artichokes in the oven at 200 degrees (function: grill on top / bottom heat) on the middle rack for 90 minutes.
  7. The artichoke is served in the aluminum foil on a plate and the artichoke remains in the aluminum foil and is opened at the table. This way, the sauce stays at the bottom of the aluminum foil.
  8. White bread or baguette goes well with it.
  9. Our recommendation: Dip the white bread in the brew (created by the olive oil).
