Instructions

  1. Cut the meat into large pieces. Peel the carrots and onions, cut the carrots into finger-thick slices, quarter the onions lengthways and also cut them finger-thick. Cut the peppers into 4 x 4 cm pieces. Halve the zucchini lengthways and cut into half slices as thick as a finger. Peel the garlic, pound it flat and cut roughly.
  2. Prepare rice or pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
  3. In a large saucepan or wok with a lid, cover the bottom well with oil and heat on the highest level. Sear the meat while stirring for about 1 minute, then add the carrots and fry for another 2 minutes while stirring. Add onions, bell peppers and zucchini and fry for 3 - 4 minutes while still stirring. Add the garlic, let it sauté briefly, then add the sprouts without water and the pineapple pieces with juice. Stir in the sambal, salt and ketchup, switch off the stove (switch to the lowest setting for gas), put on the lid and let it simmer for a moment.
  4. Serve immediately with rice or pasta.
  5. Annotation:
  6. There are of course no limits to the imagination when it comes to vegetables, mushrooms are also possible. The only important thing is the order, first the meat, then the dry ingredients such as the carrots, and finally the moist ingredients. So that the vegetables do not overcook and retain their bite, everything should be cut very roughly.
  7. You can prepare it without meat or tofu, but then you need more vegetables.
