- 12 stalks asparagus, white
- 4 slices cooked ham
- 500 g potato (s)
- 250 ml hollandaise sauce
- 200 g cheese (Emmentaler), rated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Water (salt water)
- 1 pinch (s) sugar

- Peel the asparagus and cook in salted water until it is soft, peel the potatoes and cook in salted water until cooked.
- In the meantime, make the hollandaise sauce according to the instructions on the package and add the lemon juice to taste. Wrap 3 asparagus stalks in a slice of cooked ham and place them in a flat baking dish so that the heads rest against one longitudinal end of the baking dish. Drape the potatoes around the three free sides of the wrapped asparagus in the baking dish.
- Pour the hollandaise sauce over everything, then sprinkle with the cheese. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 30 minutes until the cheese has a nice crust.
