Ingredients

  • 250 g pasta, (small ones, e.. abelletti)
  • 300 g asparaus, fresh or frozen and peeled
  • 200 g ham
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 bunch chives
  • 1 cup cream
  • 300 ml water
  • 150 g cheese, rated, (Emmentaler)
  • some salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Chop the onion, ham and asparagus (peel fresh) into small pieces.
  2. Put all ingredients except the cheese in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Then let the whole simmer for about 8 minutes, stirring again and again in the meantime. Add the cheese and simmer for another two minutes, stirring in between so that everything does not get mixed up.
  3. Is great if you have to go fast during the week.
  4. Tastes really good, because the pasta is cooked directly with the asparagus!
