Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 2 tomato (s)
  • 80 ml olive oil
  • 50 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoon chives or wild garlic, freshly chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • sugar
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste

Instructions

  1. Cook the asparagus as usual.
  2. Peel and core the tomatoes and cut the tomato flesh into small, even cubes. Mix a salad dressing from oil, vinegar and tomato paste and season with salt, pepper and sugar. Mix in the diced tomatoes and the chives or wild garlic.
  3. Place the hot asparagus in the sauce and let it steep for about 10 minutes. Serve warm.
  4. Of course, this sauce can also be used for other salads.
