Ingredients

  • 30 g butter
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 3 egg (s), separated
  • 0.5 ½ pack lemon peel (finesse)
  • 500 g quark
  • 80 grams flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 bowl strawberries, cleaned
  • Fat for the shape
  • Flour for the mold
  • 1 pack cake topping
  • water (according to package instructions)
  • Sugar (according to package instructions)

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened butter with sugar, salt, vanilla sugar and the egg yolks until frothy. Mix in the lemon zest and quark. Beat the egg whites until stiff and add to the quark mixture. Mix the flour with baking powder, sieve over it and fold in everything loosely, do not stir any more.
  2. Pour the dough into a greased, floured springform pan and bake the cake for about 40 - 45 minutes at 175 ° C top / bottom heat. Take out of the oven and let cool in the tin.
  3. Place the cooled cake on a cake plate and top with the well-picked strawberries. Prepare the icing according to the instructions on the packet, coat the strawberries with it and let it set.
