Instructions

  1. Remove the avocado from the skin, remove the stone and put the pulp in small pieces in a bowl. Peel the garlic clove, cut in half and also add to the bowl.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and puree everything with the hand blender until a mousse is formed. Possibly add less milk at the beginning and adjust the consistency later if desired.
  3. Optionally, you can spice up the dip with chopped tomatoes, strawberries or croutons.
  4. The sauce is great for spaghetti with or without prawns, homemade French fries, as a side dish for Caprese or as a spread.
  5. The dish also works with a can of peas.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
