Ingredients

  • 500 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • Milk, as needed
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 1 bunch chives (also available as frozen)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 pinch (s) pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the quark and milk until smooth. Peel the onion and chop it into very small cubes, add to the quark with the chives and season with salt and pepper.
  2. It is best to make the quark a day in advance and let it steep in the refrigerator.
  3. I prefer to eat the quark with fresh rolls with jam, jelly, turnip tops and Nutella on top. Try it you will like it!
