Instructions

  1. This recipe is so easy to make and tastes great. Even if it`s not very healthy either. It also tastes particularly good cold! Therefore also very suitable for parties and, cut into small pieces, as finger food.
  2. In a large bowl, mix 11 eggs, the cheese and the bacon cut into small pieces. Do not mix too much, just fold in loosely.
  3. Line a baking dish with half of the puff pastry slices. I need 4 rectangular discs for my shape, you may need more or less. A little flour on the underside of the slices prevents them from sticking to the pan afterwards. Pour the egg, cheese and bacon mixture into the pan and cover with the remaining puff pastry. Whisk the last egg and brush the batter with it.
  4. Bake in the oven at 175 ° C for about 45 minutes. Let stand for a while before serving so that the egg is firm.
