- 150 g white bread, stale
- liter ⅛ milk, hot
- 1 small onion (s)
- 50 g bacon
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1 egg (s)
- salt and pepper

- Cut the white bread into thin strips. Pour hot milk over it and let it steep. Knead with your hands.
- Sauté the onions and bacon, finely diced.
- Mix white bread, onions, bacon, egg, salt, pepper and parsley and form small dumplings with wet hands. Let it steep in the hot broth.
