Ingredients

  • 1 head white or pointed cabbage
  • 2 apples
  • 500 g breakfast bacon
  • 50 g butter
  • 3 tablespoon salt
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), add the juice

Instructions

  1. Put the butter in a large saucepan. Chop the cabbage and add it. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of salt on top. Peel the apples and cut into cubes, place on the cabbage and moisten with the juice of half a lemon. Cut the breakfast bacon into small pieces and place on the apples.
  2. Cook the whole thing with the lid closed over medium heat until the bacon is translucent, then turn the first time. Cook for a total of 1 - 1.5 hours over medium heat with the lid closed, turning several times.
