Ingredients

  • 150 g white bread, from the day before
  • 100 g bacon
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s)
  • 0.5 tablespoon ½ butter
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 2 tablespoon chives
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 125 ml milk
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • Meat broth

Instructions

  1. Dice white bread. Dice bacon and onions and sauté with butter. Mix with the bread cubes and parsley and chives. Knead in the egg, milk, salt, pepper and flour. Let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Shape 12 dumplings and cook in salted water for 10 minutes. Serve in meat stock.
