  • 4 medium potato (s)
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 4 cubes mountain cheese or similar strong cheese
  • Herbal butter, best made by yourself

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes, leave the peel on and cook until they are almost ready. When they have cooled down a bit, use an apple core cutter to hollow out the center of the potatoes. Cut off the two ends (approx. 1 cm) from the hollowed-out piece of potato. We will need this later for closing.
  2. Now cut the cheese cubes to size and put them in the potatoes so that it still gets a little spice. Use a knife to spread some herb butter between the cheese. This works very well when the butter is a little softened, so get it out of the fridge early enough!
  3. Now close the potato again with the two cut ends of the cut part.
  4. Wrap the potatoes with 2 slices of bacon, one lengthways and one crosswise. Then roast them nicely on the grill, since the potatoes are already cooked, depending on their size, they do not need longer than 20 minutes at 180 - 200 ° C on the grill. Turn in between.
  5. It is only when you cut the potato that you realize what a surprise it is.
