Instructions

  1. Halve the bagel (so that you have a bottom and a lid). Drain the tuna. Dice the peppers, peel the onion and dice very finely.
  2. First mix the salad cream with turmeric, chilli powder, a little salt and pepper. Then add the diced paprika and onion as well as the tuna, torn apart. Mix everything together and add a little lemon juice to taste.
  3. Cover the lower halves of the bagel with 1-2 lettuce leaves each, and put 1/4 of the tuna salad (I call it salad because it is too coarse to be called a cream) on each of the lettuce leaves. Put the bagel lid on top. Spread the rest of the tuna salad on the two lids. Decorate with a few sprigs of dill.
  4. The tuna bagel looks so totally high quality. I admit the tower is difficult to eat. I really enjoy doing this for the office. So I make the salad the evening before and my colleagues are served 2 bagel halves with tuna salad, so no built tower, it also looks delicious, but is much easier to eat. Incidentally, the bagel is very filling, just as a warning.
