Baguette “Pizza” (Hot Sandwiches with Mushrooms and Minced Meat)

Making hot sandwiches with mushrooms and minced meat “a la pizza” from a baguette is not difficult!

Ingredients

  • Baguette – 1 pc. (450 g)
  • Tomato sauce (for pizza) – 450 g
  • Minced beef – 225 g
  • Canned champignons – 225 g
  • Mozzarella cheese – 225 g
  • Vegetable oil for frying (optional)

Directions

  1. Cut the champignons into thin slices. Grate mozzarella.
  2. Fry the minced meat in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until tender.
  3. Add tomato sauce and mushrooms, stir and set aside.
  4. Cut the bread in half lengthways and then slice across so that you get 8 pieces.
  5. Spread the meat sauce evenly over the baguette slices.
  6. Place on a greased baking sheet.
  7. Sprinkle the baguette pizza with mozzarella.
  8. Bake baguette pizza in the oven for about 10 minutes at 200 degrees.
