Instructions

  1. Put the flour, salt and dry yeast in a bowl and mix everything well. Gradually add the oil and water, kneading the whole time until the dough comes off the edge of the bowl without any problems. Divide the dough into three equal pieces, shape each into a baguette roll and place this on a prepared baking sheet. Cover with a cloth (it is best to use a kitchen towel that can withstand hot laundry), place in a warm place and let rise for about 1 hour. The rolls should have doubled in volume. Now cut the surface of the roll slightly diagonally two or three times with a knife, brush with water and put in the cold oven. At the same time, fill a heat-resistant container with boiling water and place it on the bottom. Bake at 200 ° C top / bottom heat (convection: 180 ° C) for about 30 minutes until golden. Then let cool down on the baking rack.
